FUNDING
Good NEWS!!! We now have funding for eligible farmers and growers in Yorkshire for 2012 up to the end of February and we have another application in to enable us to offer continued funded training in Yorkshire until the end of June 2012. Funding is available for some and not all courses and the rate is up to 50% for Yorkshire Trainees.
The current North East funding for 70% of the cost of training, has ended for the foreseeable future, but we hope to be able to assess the situation towards the end of March, so if you wish to get your name down for a course or particular training please contact us asap to ensure that you are able to access funding as soon as it is available.

SLUG PELLETING
Please be aware of the restrictions regarding the use of slug pellets and make sure that all operators applying them have their PA4 granular application certificate. This will now form part of your Cross Compliance for all farmers - should you require any further information please contact us Also remember that you can obtain NRoSO points when you train for your PA4
Trailer Driving
Please remember that if a young persons passed their test after 1st Janaury 1997 they will need to pass another driving test using the trailer to enable them to pull a trailer or caravan behind a car or land rover. This is the B + E section of the driving licence. We have funding to enable them to complete this test and it will only cost from £150+ vat plus the test fee.
