Brief Description
Since 2015, anyone buying a pesticide authorised for professional use must obey a key legal requirement. The law demands that the pesticide will be used either by the holder of a relevant certificate, or by a person working under the direct supervision of someone who holds one.
This course has been developed in direct response to that legal requirement for pesticide use. You will earn a recognised qualification that reflects the national standards for the type of role you perform.
Accreditation: City and Guilds (NPTC) or Lantra
Course Duration: 1 Day
Maximum number participants: 10
Assessment: Computer based Multiple choice assessment. (Max 1 Hour)

What will be covered?
This qualification will give you the opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge of the safe use and application of pesticides. Our course will also assess your knowledge and understanding of:

- Hazards and risks associated with pesticides
- Personal safety when using pesticides
- The measures to deal with pesticide poisoning

- The requirements for protected areas
- Environmental risks and protection of wildlife

- Factors to consider when using pesticides.
Cancellation Policy
The full cost of the course is to be paid before the start of the course.
If you cancel your place you will be liable for 100% of the cost. Unless a cancellation is received in writing 14 days prior to the commencement of the course.
