PA4 Granular Application

Brief Description

This course prepares candidates to take their City & Guilds NPTC PA4G Pesticide Granule Applicator Module Assessment. Our qualification is available for learners aged 16+.

You will reinforce your knowledge, understanding and skills in the application of pesticides using granular equipment. It is designed with those for those both new to the job and who have already established themselves in a pesticide-based role

Accreditation: City and Guilds (NPTC)

Course Duration: 1 Day (+ Separate Assessment)

Maximum number participants: 6

Assessment: Practical

Prerequisites: PA1 (Safe Use of Pesticides)

Price: £345+VAT

What is Covered?

As a result of this course you will be able to:

  • Prepare a pesticide granule applicator for work, calibrate and operate it to ensure correct application rate without risk to themselves, other people and the environment.
  • Use the information detailed on product labels to determine the approved uses for the product and its potential hazards to human safety, non-target areas and the environment in general.
  • Carry out daily and routine maintenance of the applicator.
  • Carry out the correct procedure for clearing personal protective equipment and application equipment which may have been contaminated with pesticide.

Cancellation Policy

The full cost of the course is to be paid before the start of the course.

If you cancel your place you will be liable for 100% of the cost. Unless a cancellation is received in writing 14 days prior to the commencement of the course.
